Having moved to Herne Bay a little over four years ago and previously visited the town often since I was a child I was keen to join the Pier community and be part of something that is important to the town’s identity. I have really enjoyed being a volunteer on the Pier, including being part of the team at events and meeting so many wonderful people. I feel that Herne Bay has a lot to offer residents and visitors and that the Pier is one of its outstanding features. I am glad to be part of the team that enables the Pier to flourish.
