Michael Scott

I have lived in Whitstable and Herne Bay all my life so I am very familiar with the area and the pier. I can remember the pier in its entirety and watching the pavilion being built.
I have a wide range of professional experience including retail management and security. My previous employment was as a civil servant at the Home Office.
I have always loved the pier and been fascinated by its history. I truly believe that we are at the beginning of a golden age for the pier and have a vision for its future. A future that will benefit the entire town and community.
I love visiting the pier and do so most days with my wife and two dogs.
